  1. Looks great! So clean Are the Toyos good?
  2. Oops... thanks Johno. I wasn't thinking. Blame it on the cold
  3. I guess what Ron means is that they overdo it? Look at Mark's car for example, ACS wheels and diffuser with M Sport front, sides and mirrors... looks great. And don't forget ACS makes a few types of bits for each part of the car. For example you have Mark's ACS diffuser which replaces the standard diffuser on the non-M rear bumper, or you can get a full rear bumper cover that you glue on to the rear bumper to cover everything below the mouldings. Same goes for the front - there's a lip that bolts on, or a whole cover that's glued to the bumper. I have not had a fibreglass kit before but fibreglass is supposed to be inferior to polyurethane as it cannot flex as much so if you hit something it will crack. That said, I'm sure there are varying grades of fibreglass, as with polyurethane - so see if the others jump in with more info. I'm no expert but I would personally go with a polyurethane kit as it looks to be closest to OEM material. At the end of the day choose what you like best, it's your car
  4. I'm guessing around the $130,000 mark?
  5. There's no correct answer. M3 is proven to look good but more common. ACS not so common but can be more subjective depending on the kit. Remember you can do a combination of kits between the two if you like, unless you want to make a full M3 or ACS replica. Just depends on what you like really.
  6. Very nice! I'm guessing you'd be the only one in NZ atm with your specific setup?
  7. I'll have to respectfully disagree... these pictures don't do the car justice. The paint looks bad. Put up some normal pictures so we can admire the detailing results
  8. E36 coupe and sedan have the same exhaust. You can always check the part numbers to be sure.
  9. Welcome mate... good that you've changed your nick Looking forward to the pics.

Great work Mark... the diffuser goes well with the chrome tips, pity you didn't manage to fit the ACS one but I'm sure you'll find one someday. Front end looks good... colour coded trunk handle helps heaps. And the paint looks great as usual. This round of mods is the biggest improvement yet... next up, sideskirts and drop?

    HID Headlights

Technically you're right Paul... after all xenon is just the gas. But 'HID' and 'xenon' are usually used interchangeably. I think the halogen bulbs filled with xenon came out after HIDs made it on to the market?

    Puzzled

Bummer mate - though it's better to find out now than have it break off when you're halfway up a mountain in the middle of nowhere at 2am! At least now you know you're good for another 100,000kms or so. Oh wait... hopefully your expansion tank is new too? Those can break too...
  16. Absolutely awesome... no other words.
  17. Yep, need hubcentric rings to fit E39 wheels on E34.
  18. Awesome, look forward to more updates
  19. Oh I see. Best of both worlds!
  20. That's not a standard kit is it?
  21. How did it go on the private test track Grant?
  22. Nice find mate, looks very tidy, especially the interior. What colour is it btw? M Parallels will look great, not so sure about the CH on the E34. They seem to suit the more modern shapes better.
  23. Ok Andrew, you win. That is very cool
  24. Looks great! What pattern is that on the rotors? Never seen it before. Probably a stupid question but do you save or gain weight in going to the BBK? Oh, and nice second car
