Its easy as to replace, you have to use a screwdriver and twist the clip out of its place. youl see what im talking about

Hapens all the time.. xsv opening and closing. Ive fixed it before with a bit of epoxy... reason being is one of the plastic slides in the mechanism wears out... just build it back up with epoxy or buy a new airvent with latch
