haha....maybe....e30 m3's can't be see for under 30k NZD, and compared to regular e30's M325i's are way too expensive normal e30's on the other hand, are dirt cheap. if rusty!
-
i kinda dig it. M50?
-
well..i still own a turbo one.... who knows what the future holds!

well, my weekend has been interesting! i started off looking at this for 800 quid however, I saw it, it was a bit rusty (which is normal for here) had a really bad steering wobble, and major problems with the internal electrics (someone had cut out the alarm) I would have loved to take it on as a project but Just don't have the time to work on it, or the space. That was saturday, I was sleeping it over on saturday night and stumbled across this: 650 quid, 325i manual touring, it's not immaculate, rusty in a couple of places but generally very tidy and drives really well. 150k miles also! (the 325i Sport had 240k miles) as a bonus, it has an LSD, which I didn't know about, score! now to get rid of the 318iS touring. just a note to anyone, anyone who argues that the M42 is better than an M20 2.5 - you are wrong.
-
nice! can you PM me with how much you paid? I'm curious!
-
the most desirable part is that they are have a 2.5 and an LSD - in terms of driving pleasure, that's about it...the springs and shocks are most worthwhile changed by now anyway, seats are probably all old and not that nice anyway, and the body kit is just a looks thing. e30s in general are getting overpriced (at least over here, although there are bargains to be had too) as people are viewing them as being collectable, when really they are just shitty old bmw's that a few people like. having said that, i would buy my old one back!

i like the airbox on the hamann, that's about it...the rest of it is tacky as hell
-
i think those are dry engine weights - imagine it would be a lot higher with all ancillaries?
-
i dont really see the point, they sound horrible!

gah. dont even get me started i suck at ebay, which is why i lost it in the first place. so mainly annoyed at myself he bought it for under 1100, turns round and offers it to me for 1500. tell him to bugger off, then offers it for 1300. i tell him to give me a day to think about it. i get in touch the next day and he's like "i put wheels on it and lowered it, 2k". what a cock. i would have paid 1300, it was mint. now he has chavved it up and it looks like arse anyway..looking at a 800 quid sport on the weekend to get my 325 fix!

nice videoing of stuff!

Hi guys I'm not looking to buy right now (unless one comes up for the right price) but I might be looking for a low ratio LSD - somewhere around the 2.9-3.15 ratio I don't mind if it's not in an e30 casing, as long as it is able to be put there i'm happy let me know what you got! cheers Gus

much better! I like it! i like the centres too, keep em dark
-
hot, nasty, bad ass speed. i love it

i believe most NZ new cars came with the high compression pre FL pistons anyway if you are buying new pistons don't waste your time with the standard ones - stroke and bore the engine and get custom forged pistons. speak to Gavin Bellars at Hivelocity if you are interested
-
OEM pads are the only way forward for the e30..everything else squeaks!
-
very tough, i like.

haha, ever since actually owning a turbo car, i changed my mind....n/a is best although i am toying with the idea of keeping it. or buying an e36 m3 and pulling it apart..who knows!
-
i don't think it's that powerful...would rather an m20 stroker for that money to be honest.. it would be more expensive, but better
-
damn, i'd buy this
