i was looking at getting my shocks revalved...however they could only do the rear ones (e30) and they were going to have to rebuild as well as revalve...would have ended up being more than new shocks

i think they liked me......nah they could see that it was a really nice example....it was ok as i was hoping to get a higher valuation, but pay about $2k for the wreck, so it actually ended up being the same as my estimate, initial price-2k just got wreck towed today, was sad to see it go

re did stereo.....front Inifinity 6.5 components are now amped, and the rears are off HU...much better, very happy with sound. should prob fiddle with amp now. rear windows still dont work, and still doesnt idle. i love it

i want to include the car cost as overall part of it, you can minus bits that you sold off it. me 6g for 4 door, -900 for wheels, 450 for gbox, 500 for seats=4150 $500 for wrecked M325i Prob around a g for misc bits, mounts etc to put it all together $570 for exhaust whats that.....$6220 i know the wrecked m325i bit is a bit cheeky...in reality put $700 of tyres, $250 rebuilt starter, $190 of strut bars, $50+rum of wing, $300ish clutch, seals, $130 Short shift, $320 braided hoses are about all...all the other modded stuff came with car. plus the money i lost from initial purchase through insurance....but its all worked out ok. and still got a few more parts to sell yet to keep me out of employment

just out of curiousity, how much have people spent on their e30's? keen to get an idea of badassness per dollar ratio. im talking all up, not including servicing or insurance but repairs can be included.

looking for ideas for exhaust tips not that keen on DTM tips cos andy has them, but i do like possibly large oval/square single like dual square ones, like old exhaust dual rounds ok, but a bit boring any more ideas peoples? post some pics up, give me some ideas.

and probably ten X more expensive for parts, servicing, insurance i dont disagree, but some people arent fussed by such things as power and badassness

just for indication that an oil service is due....most people dont know how to reset it so it just stays on....easy write up on www.bmwe30.net. is a bit of a gimmick......i end up changing oil often enough it doesnt really matter
