ive heard the complete opposite about shorty's.....ideally you want the tubes as equal length as possible, with the collectors quite far down Ian (Hartage) one's are nice, Racing dynamics, collect near chassis rail if i remember right. my ones arent too flash, but anything is better than the stock one really

never heard of the e30 box break. maybe should look into mounting that behind an SR20. possible?

holla....i like both however having said that, im kinda over having a car that looks good. but at least having one that looks good means you dont mind making it go faster. i also like a good interior and going round corners. however if i could do one thing, it would be SR20 swap, dunno if thats because i have done everything else, or i prefer power also one day a satin black repaint....pimp mystery

dont know exactly bout the e34, but e30's have different pedal boxes for 5spd/auto, i imagine the 5 the same. easy enough to change the whole thing across

what power limits can the e30 diff handle? in specific my 3.64 med case LSD. the turbo guys over in US dont seem to have any problems with them blowing up..thoughts?

im using 5w50 pennzoil full synth on mine have not noticed any downsides to using it...no leaks, doesnt seem to burn any oil, the m20 ticking is a bit noisier, but meh car is noisy anyway. i never really seem to get between oil services long until i have to do something that involves draining oil anyway. am happy with the pennzoil, and comes in 5L containers (usually gives enough to fill with a little left over for spare, although if you filling from dead empty you need it all) IMO, doesnt matter too much what you use (as long as its decent, nothing like Red Rosies Re Re Refined) as long as you change it and the filter regularly
