So i managed to replace the adjusters in one headlight, only to find the other side was absolutely knackered. God knows what someone had tried to accomplish with these headlights but they f**ked it up fantastically. If anyone has a passenger side facelift, halogen headlight id love to know. Failing that if anyone has Xenon headlights and an LCM id be interested too! Thanks guys

Sorry, I used to have prefacelift halogens but changed to face lift halogens.

Hi guys, does anyone have a couple of spare second hand working coils in the Wellington region? I thought I had some spares but I cant for the life of me find them and its going to take some time to get my new set delivered from the states. I could really do with having my car running between now and then. Cheers gents

Morning everyone. I wondered who has done an LED low beam, high beam and front fog LED upgrade on their E39 or other models?

I drove in convoy with this car, early Jan 2020 from around Tirau all the way into Auckland CBD. Was a good and fast blast! If the owner is on here, I was the silver E39 540i

To follow up... After chatting to a couple of members, It seemed like the only logical place and person to go see was Zane at Automatic Transmission Repairs in Plimmerton. He's a certified ZF whizz and covered to do MBI work also. Pretty much everything was replaced bar the drums. This included a split valve block, all bearings, clutch packs, pistons, pressure regulator valves etc etc, The list goes on... Zane really knows his stuff and takes the time to answer questions. Having been here before with an L322 Range Rover with the same m62tu and ZF 5hp 24 box, it was reassuring! It took a few weeks because the job was as big as it could have been and a bunch of parts and overhaul kits had to come from overseas. He didn't disappoint and i now have my car back running better than ever. Any gearbox woes? Go see Zane at Automatic Transmission repairs in Plimmerton
