    1990 325i

Thought I'd be nice and put a link on here for the poor bugger who accidentally put a $1 Buy-Now on it originally- see 'rides' section Nice 325iSE/A4. $1 reserve, it's cheap but not really what I'm after... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...&key=473951
  2. Fiat 127 with worked engine= coolest 'character' small car I've driven. Especially in Bright Orange.
  3. Granted, but you'd have to agree, your 205 beats it hands down huh?
  4. Nah, tried driving a mini, knees and steering wheel relations made it impossible. They look cool though, but highly over-rated IMO. A bit like an E30 325i
  5. Thought this would interest you guys, the guy who 'sold' me the BMW for a dollar paid OVER A GRAND FOR THIS! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=68969273 Why? He must have had another 'long day'.
  6. Can I have a timeshare in your Amway Emu Farm?
  7. You never do read the small print, do you?
  8. Most entertaining use of bandwidth ever. 1st prize.
  9. Haha yes, GTI. The silver one sold unfortunately. So looks like Orange is the way to go.
  10. Haha, of course I didn't expect to get it for a dollar. But there was a one in a million chance that the $1 buy now was serious, in which case I don't think any of you lot would have hesitated in clicking on it! He is within his rights not to sell, as the listing had been on for all of 30 seconds. Right place, right time! For my honesty though, I have been offered the car for a very tempting dollar (rather than ONE dollar) figure! So there is a silver lining. Not sure if I want it to be honest :S
  11. Well I have emailed him and pointed out that he is lucky a member of Black Power, Triads etc didn't win his auction for a dollar, and should consequently offer it to me for a great price due to my honesty and reasonability. Fat chance though, I think! Will post up my email chain to him later, was quite funny.
  12. Well, sadly it looks like it is not to be. I used a buy now on trademe to buy the 325i, and now the seller wants more money.... Here's the link to the auction http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=70215226 Check out what I was to have paid for it guys!
  13. Cheers Andy, yea don't worry, weaves on the way! A bit sketchy about buying it sight unseen but hey, you gotta go with your gut feeling!
  14. Hey guys, had to get another E30, was eating away at me! Here she is, a 1990 325iSE Automatic. Picking her up soon, looking forward to it! Hope you guys like it, tell me what you think...
  15. What's the difference between a Maori and a Pizza? A pizza can feed a family. How can you tell the difference between roadkill and a dead ******? The ****** has tyre marks going forward and in reverse. Three gay men are at a funeral home, discussing what to do with the ashes of their deceased partners. The first says, "My partner was a great golfer, so I'm going to scatter his ashes on his favourite course". The seconds says, "Well, my partner was a keen fisherman, so I'm taking his ashes up to the lake". The third says, "My partner was an amazing lover, so I'm going to put his ashes in a jar of chilli and eat it, so that he can tear up my ass one last time".
  16. Why are there no ashtrays at Michael Barrymore's house? Because they throw all the fags in the pool. What do you call an Indian lesbian? Mingeeta.
  17. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...225&ed=true This happened today while I was chopping kindling. The pics say it all!
  18. Mine was bought with 143,000km on the clock and full service history. Was still on the original clutch, had cambelt done at 72,000km. Over time, just 'perishables' such as exhaust, brakes etc were replaced... Good maintenance seems to be the key to longevity, Martyns (Formerly Naths) 316i had well over 200,000km on it last time I checked, and it ran and looked stunning for a 17 year old car.
  19. Video tape is in police custody. So reports of it being on the web must be untrue
  20. Very sad. Let's hope Germaine Greer has learnt her lesson and doesn't accuse Brocky of torturing the earth with his gas guzzling phallic symbol.
  21. Good luck with the sale. Show us some pics of the whole car this time- Ryan was under the impression that Ruby was a coupe!

    325JPS for sale

Cigarette association really does equal sex appeal!
  23. Seized disc, perhaps? Unfortunately never all that cheap. Go to Pitstop/ Midas in Kerikeri (if you have one) in a small skirt. Should solve the problem fairly affordably.
  24. It is possible, but not sure of the cost of altering steering gearing or getting a different geared steering rack. Standard, an E30 323i has 4.0 turns lock to lock, and is generally regarded as pretty good for everyday driving. Certainly, 2.5 would become a bit touchy, and without power steering, bloody heavy, wouldn't fancy trying to parallel park. By the way, I have a copy of MOTOR magazine (UK) road test for the BMW 323i, 1983. Can scan and email it to you if you are interested. You'll be pleased to hear that in 'handling' your car scored a full 5 stars!
  25. Very nice, loving those wheels!
