Yeah pretty much Lucan. I just spoke to Johno at Mag and Tyre Direct (you are a legend) and he put me on to Wheel Fix It who can machine the bore on a lathe. The only problem is that this will cost me $220 including pulling off the tyres and putting them back on and balancing them and such. If anyone can get a discount on machining them you are a champion.

They don't fit. Quite angry because when I bought them I was told specifically by the seller at the parts place that they will fit my car. They go on but as soon as you drive they are all over the place wobbling like crazy. I am taking them back and I am going to shout lots. Is there a way to make these fit on my car. Can I make the bore bigger or change my hubs to E38s?

Just got some new rims today, picking them up tomorrow and putting them on the car on Thursday. They are 18in style 32s on 235/60/ZR18 tyres with heaps of tread. The rims are in good condition, minimal curbing, a little bit of yellowing on the fronts from brake dust so they will need a good scrub. I am going to paint them a nice gloss gray and change the tyres to 215/40/ZR18s. Hopefully these new wheels will aliviate some of the 4wd look of the car because it is looking a bit strange at the moment. Also have begun building a custom subwoofer and amp enclosure in the back with a bandpass sub box and a single 12", the enclosure will cover the back of the boot entirely with the sub on the left and behind a plexiglass cut out will be the monoblock amp running it and the carpet of the box is going to match that of the boot to give it a factory look. This is the rims on the car they are on atm

I can see enough of the screen to read Brake Li but not the rest, it isn't the lights, I think it says brake liners, brake lines or brake lining

Can someone help me do the brakes on my E39? My little dash screen says 'Check Brake (something I can't read because my screen is had it)' I don't know how to do brakes on a BMW, I assume it is like a normal car though, I have a suspicion that it may be the brake rotors because I think that was mentioned in the AA report I got when I purchased the vehical. Any help to do them will be greeted with a free dozen beers Of your choice

First off, wtf is pinging?? Because that just immediatly makes me think of ping pong. And second, I run 91 because it's cheaper and I get between 7.8 - 9.1km/l in the suburbs and on the motorway I get around 10.5 - 15km/l. I don't have a sticker so I just went with the option that doesn't see my car physically consuming my wallet.
