New Toy

Recommended Posts

About a month ago I Put my 318i in for a service and received less than diserable news that she was not in good shape.

So after 4 years of ownership I decided it was time to upgrade.

After quite search I decided I wanted to head to the other end of the 3 scale and would look at 328s.

Here are a couple of images of my new car.

Nice

So you have the basis of an E30 race car in your garage as well now?

Would love to but at the moment neither money or time is on my side.

Do the wheels. Just do it.

Have asked for a quote and will start saving acordingly. I wasn't sure if that style would suit the E36s but looking at some of the modified e36s in the uk I think they will look hot

Cheers for the comments guys.

I realised in my tired state and rush to get images up i didn't give any specs of the car.

The car is a

1996 328i motorsport coupe

100xxxkms

Manual

Full dark red leather sport interior

Absolute stock apart from a sony headunit and 35% tints

I can't wait to have to drive somewhere now. I'm loving every moment in this car and can't wait to personalise it.

Cheers

Jamie

They will look great dude, Just:

A ) make sure your get the right offset (say no to umbrella effect) (18x8.5 @ 38-40mm offset depending on tire brand should be good)

B ) make sure you lower it on decent springs (please dont dump it down however)

You will love it! :)

Perfect choice- i bet theres nothing wrong with it, right? And perfect history?

That was Jill the service advisor's car, then her son Jared's, who was the asst. foreman at JCBMW yes?

I love those wheels, they look fine for now man. just dont touch them with acid!

CinaH - It set me back 12 grand. Which I'm pretty happy with.

Hybrid - When it comes time to get the wheels and suspension modifications I think I'll source all the tasty bits through the same people that import those wheels. Which i think is H&R equipment.

Nath - Yes on all acounts. Car was first bought by Jeff Crowe then ended up in Jared's family.

Cheers

Congrats on the car! I am jealous :-)

She is beautiful, probably one of the best 328im's I've been in to date

Did J leave the sounds in it?

The car came with a sony headunit and 10 cd stacker.... But I'm guessing from your comment that there were more prior to sale?

Sweet dude .. I just got all mine through performalink (works wheels wheels / KW suspension) I'm actually excited for you, nothing better than seeing someone taking a bloody car and tastefully modding it.
