Apex 693 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 It could work out ok.. Didn’t measure the intercooler very well did he, half of it is covered up making it kind of pointless. He should put a Nissan front bumper on it.
QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 I think quite in the other direction that an inter cooler coverd up and hidden is much nicer. A big stupid nissan front bumper with a gigantic hole in the middle for a huge fridge to hang out of isnt my cup of tea Either way, it looks kinda nice but would've been nicer without an SR... Cale 36 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 Hmmm, not my cup of tea. Stick the SR, he should've put an S50 in there.
Old_Skool_Bmw 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 why not just turbo the original s14 engine instead of put a nissan engine in there :S Hehe, probably didn't pick the best car to do this swap to. Laurence
Hi-Tek 3 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 (edited) This car is on s14.net I think the car was kind of destroyed prior to him getting it, he's just sourced panels etc in an effort to get it back on the road again. *found link http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?t=30954; Edited November 12, 2008 by Hi-Tek
JiB 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 Would've been better with a RHD one, more downpipe space. And after reading that, it makes more sense.

kingkarl 136 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 I dont have a problem with it because that car would have ended up as scrap had he not fixed it up. I'd be pissed if he had of got an all original M3 and started messing with it. This guy put it well: Can't wait to see it finished. I'm usuallly the purist type. You are not cutting up a pristine or nice example though. Sounds like it will be a beast! God i love those rims:

Driftit 2078 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 (edited) That intercooler is way oversize for an SR20. And he will be forever picking roadkill out of it. Also with those mods he has listed it should have around 200-220 rwkws depending how good that random ecu is he has listed and if he is running 1-1.3bar Pretty much the same as my 180. I run 1.3bar and have an easy 211rwkw. Edited November 13, 2008 by driftit
