brockie123 31 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 no respray. it's got an lsd in it also, and goes like no other 320i i've ever driven. can't wait to see it once you've lowered and got wheels.
Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 LSD you say......trades for a slip diff?

brockie123 31 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 84 manual 320 ftw... Say no to 6 x 9's i agree i'm just about to get rid of mine where the parts car gets here and i can get a new tray! does anyone else find their e30 with a slip diff thinks it is a lsd? mine loves to think it's an lsd.. it's so reliable i'm not even going to bother getting an lsd it feels just like one.. but it's deffinatly not. also what type of wheels are you putting on it louis? Jamez 2147483647 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 my 325i with a 4.40 in it manages to spin both wheels when you drop the clutch or driving in the wet SLIP DIFF REPRESENT 2009
Forrest 35 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 ^ Hells yeah even my 316i does that, short as f*ck diff ratios FTW
bravo 35 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 Well my open diff definitely feels like an open diff. So I'll happily trade it for some one with an LSD that doesn't think they'll notice the difference with cash their way. I'll even do the swap for them too if the price reflects this. Palazzo 477 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 Yeah i just want springs pm if any 1 has a good deal also need some 6 by 9s sub and amp too ! Don't cut your parcel tray up for 6x9s, you'll fail a warrant and have a worthless car. Looks good in the photos, just needs to be a bit lower.
APT 194 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 Hey mate you can have 6x9's as long as you have spacers.. just make sure you dont cut up the metal
mark247 39 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 My mates e30 has an open diff that thinks it's a LSD sometimes, I wish I could say that same about my e36 but it is certainly a one wheel wonder.
Lucan 196 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) wait why would you fail a warrant with a cut parcel tray?? noob ques or maybe i didnt read that right! Nice car, lowering is def needed...im growing on the chrome (bumpers) too! Edited May 25, 2009 by Blackie
Forrest 35 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 Parcel tray is considered structural to the chassis of the car, so can't cut it
QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 Clarification needed: Above comments refer to the METAL parcel underneath the MDF one. Cut the MDF one to buggery if you want. DON'T TOUCH THE METAL ONE!
e30plz 1 Report post Posted May 25, 2009 Should I go grab some pics of my metal parcel tray cut to pieces for clarification?
