Paint looks pretty mint for an 84'. Has it had a respray? Nice E30 anyway.

no respray. it's got an lsd in it also, and goes like no other 320i i've ever driven.

can't wait to see it once you've lowered and got wheels.

84 manual 320 ftw...

Say no to 6 x 9's

i agree i'm just about to get rid of mine where the parts car gets here and i can get a new tray! does anyone else find their e30 with a slip diff thinks it is a lsd? mine loves to think it's an lsd.. it's so reliable i'm not even going to bother getting an lsd it feels just like one.. but it's deffinatly not.

also what type of wheels are you putting on it louis?

my 325i with a 4.40 in it manages to spin both wheels when you drop the clutch :) or driving in the wet SLIP DIFF REPRESENT 2009 :P

Well my open diff definitely feels like an open diff. So I'll happily trade it for some one with an LSD that doesn't think they'll notice the difference with cash their way.

I'll even do the swap for them too if the price reflects this.

Don't cut your parcel tray up for 6x9s, you'll fail a warrant and have a worthless car. Looks good in the photos, just needs to be a bit lower.

Hey mate you can have 6x9's as long as you have spacers.. just make sure you dont cut up the metal :D

My mates e30 has an open diff that thinks it's a LSD sometimes, I wish I could say that same about my e36 but it is certainly a one wheel wonder.

Parcel tray is considered structural to the chassis of the car, so can't cut it

Clarification needed: Above comments refer to the METAL parcel underneath the MDF one. Cut the MDF one to buggery if you want. DON'T TOUCH THE METAL ONE!

Should I go grab some pics of my metal parcel tray cut to pieces for clarification? :(

So nice and tidy! Would leave it as is bar those tyres, looks retro cool. Chrome grills rock.

Welcome to Bimmersport.
