Veyron Kit car in NZ?

Recommended Posts

I had to go the the local Fiber glass guys this morning and saw this copy of a Veyron in there.

Its into have moulds made of it.

A guy in taupo sent 5 months building this plug using only pictures off the internet.

It is smaller in size to the real car. The photos are off my phone, so sorry about quality

I would attach it to a 2.0L Auto New Beatle.

Its like one of those old tamiya after market shells you could bye. Nice skin for an e30.

That is a laugh, if it has good detail it will be kinda cool.

But I ask, why a veyron, its pretty ugly? Only thing going for it is its engineering and speed.

Should have made a DB9 kit car or something actually nice to look at.

what's the point of replicating an ugly veyron if you don't put the W16 and running gear in?????

so pointless

no it's ugly because it's not visually appealing to me ... subjective

Agree. What a waste of money.

Obviously the guy who made it likes them so why not, would prefer a kit Veyron to an E30 any day.

I feel the same way about E36's. But even in this case I would still take an E36.

I rekon it will look epic. I'm a fan personally of the origonal car & whilst it does look alternative, most supercars are alternative & don't suit everyone's eyes. Another big reason the car is that shape is for pure aerodynamics and engine/intercooler intakes.

It needs to be said that it would be best suited to a 1985 Corolla DX 1800cc 1C Diesel engine & chassis sporting leaf springs.

That's quite well done! I'd like to see what kind of power plant get folded into it. S70 +TT would do the trick
