kinetik 4 Report post Posted November 4, 2010 Logitech G25 or G27. There is no substitute (in NZ) The Fanatec Porsche stuff is probably better. It's available in NZ via an importer on TradeMe. The pedals, at least, are miles better because the brake pedal uses a load cell, which acts and feels much more like a real brake pedal.

Apex 693 Report post Posted November 4, 2010 Looking at wheel and pedal combo’s but I would rather spend the money on my real car. Just in time for Christmas would be all good for me, I haven’t played my PS3 since last Christmas anyway, a solid week should have the foundations in place. Top Secret 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2010 If you're looking for a cheap wheel just so you have some sense of control, look for a secondhand Logitech Driving Force Pro. A lot of online sim racers still use them, and they've got the usual 900 deg force feedback etc. I think I picked up mine for under $90?

Apex 693 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 Im sorry but that is a crap list of cars, that grates my testicals. Deep breath. Mother f**king f**kers, what has taken so long if that’s the sh*t list of cars available, its mostly the same sh*t cars as GT4. 20 different Mitsubishi FTO’s and no Peugeot 205GTI, E30 M3, Sierra Cosworth and the list goes on and on. FFS. Am glad to see 08 Renaultsport Megane on there, thinking it will be the R26.R.
Jacko 2158 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) Makes you wonder why the E30 M3 was left out, particularly with the 2.5 190E's in the game. Maybe it was a move by BMW... Was it Gt2 that didnt allow you to change wheels on the bimmers? Still, probably the best list of cars in any car game ever ie Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione '08 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65 Alpine A110 1600S '73 Audi quattro '82 Caterham Seven Fire Blade '02 Cizeta V16T '94 Dodge Charger 440 R/T '70 DOME-ZERO Concept '78 Ginetta G4 '64 Jensen Interceptor MkIII '74 Lamborghini Countach LP400 '74 Lamborghini Miura Volkswagen Golf I GTI '76 Lancia DELTA S4 Rally Car '85 Lancia STRATOS '73 Lotus Carlton '90 Marcos Mini Marcos GT '70 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe '54 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '91 Mitsubishi STARION 4WD Rally Car '84 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe (Type-1) '68 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 Rally Car '86 Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car '85 Triumph Spitfire 1500 '74 Edited November 13, 2010 by Jacko
kingkarl 136 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 Pretty disappointed with the list of BMWs. It's not much different to the GT4 BMW list. They've got a ton of nice alfas. And the Maserati GT is in! There's wayyyyyy too many variations of crap Japanese cars. How many versions of the civic/skyline do we need???

Did anyone else play GTA prologue? I want to see more of the thing were each team gets so many points to upgrade there car for that race, Meant you could get the car 100% to your liking before each race. set it up for wined tracks or fast smooth tracks etc etc Edited November 13, 2010 by 5amchris

I have to agree with you there- just the right amount of grunt when it was tuned, could put far more powerful cars to shame around the nurburgring as it was so easy to drive Edited November 13, 2010 by Mike
fuzyfrog 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 Im just annoyed with how many decent cars are standard models and not premium models. Oh well dont need cockpits for all the cars i guess. Its pretty obvious there is going to be alot of DLC with GT5.
Top Secret 2 Report post Posted November 13, 2010 So, did anybody else get immensely disappointed when they saw the track list? No apricot hill, midfield, grindelwald, Twin ring motegi etc. There better be good DLC. Just in case someone wants a CHEAP copy of GT5, or any game/dvd for that matter, use this site here: dvd.co.uk. But, make sure you put the item through checkout, as it takes off their local taxes and adds shipping. I can get GT5 shipped for NZD$68. Their shipping times are pretty tidy too from what I've heard.
