pjay 8 Report post Posted October 6, 2010 Thanks mate! She's a bit bouncy with the coilovers at their lowest point so I think I'll get some work done on the shocks to shorten em.
Simon 328M 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2010 ET10 How much flaring did it need? i guess you would be relying on the stiffness of the coilovers to stop it rubbing?
HaNs 226 Report post Posted October 16, 2010 ET10 How much flaring did it need? i guess you would be relying on the stiffness of the coilovers to stop it rubbing? Not a huge amount, they went out more than he wanted Its rubs
pjay 8 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 Rear rubs a little under load but I love it. Front is fine, am also running some silly amount of camber though too. Could go to ET0 with 17x8's easy.
Tristan 338 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 I like very much. Do spacers always need cert? and how much will that cost?
APT 194 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 All Spacers need a cert. Cert is around $
Simon 328M 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 So et13 on 50mm springs, would i be pushing my luck? Guess the tires are gonna make a huge difference, what do you run?
Ben 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2010 Rear rubs a little under load but I love it. Front is fine, am also running some silly amount of camber though too. Could go to ET0 with 17x8's easy. Easy? dunno what yours is atm but going off mine that kinda camber would eat out tyres faster than a horny lesbian at a swingers convention. So et13 on 50mm springs, would i be pushing my luck? Guess the tires are gonna make a huge difference, what do you run? Either roll the guards with big camber or pump the guards if your going that low. Ive got 17x8.5 et15 215/45 on mine, F 50mm R 35mm, standard camber, rolled guards. Minimal rub with just the driver but add two more people and it rubs on every little bump in the road. A bit more camber will fix this though. So yeah theyll fit with a small amount of work
pjay 8 Report post Posted October 18, 2010 Helper springs put back in to keep the fronts captive for cert. Call the camberlance: Tyres are cheap, awesome is not.
