m325i 709 Report post Posted October 3, 2011 After a few years riding the train, I'm back in the game. Had a few bits and pieces done since I got this a couple of weeks ago; cooling system, resprayed bumper, some panel repair, 5 speed with short shifter, new head deck. m325i 709 Report post Posted October 3, 2011 (edited) Chur chur, guys. No real plans for it, as the basics are done, but I may look at some new wheels for it, (stock evo m3, LMs, Style 5's? ) and maybe an airbox/filter (just for noise). Oh, you know the stock tail pipes, there were 'black' from factory right? Edited October 3, 2011 by Nick G
Mark 178 Report post Posted October 3, 2011 ^ Yep tailpipes are supposed to be black. You can get factory chrome sleeves for them however. Nice car, did you convert to 5 speed yourself?

Probably not paying attention but I haven't seen many black 328's around - looks great
m325i 709 Report post Posted October 29, 2011 I'm really stoked with a pod filter. Its sounds way better and has a nice VANOS 'howl' now.
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted October 29, 2011 I prefer the factory intake with the baffles removed, sounds excellent.
m325i 709 Report post Posted October 29, 2011 I tried that, but it didn't make that much difference in my opinion.
thorburn 121 Report post Posted October 29, 2011 Might want to make a heat shield. There was quite a noticeable difference on the dyno between factory and nothing before the maf sensor.
m325i 709 Report post Posted October 29, 2011 You mean like box off the filter section right ? Not just a curved bit of metal? If there is a slight loss of power from heat soak and at low speeds I'd pay that price for the intake, vanos and exhaust sound bump. $50 it's a great upgrade, if your into this sort of thing. I am. West west.
thorburn 121 Report post Posted October 29, 2011 Yes I mean a box. Doesn't need to be anything flash. Just something that wont fall into your fan and pulleys Also add to the price a loss in fuel economy. Nice car though
hugokan 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2011 Is that an e46 boot lip? Loving it
M5V8 337 Report post Posted November 2, 2011 Factory front M-splitter? but sweet ride. Lovin the subtle rear spoiler. Looks like it was always supposed to be there.
m325i 709 Report post Posted November 3, 2011 It's like a e46 lip spoiler, but not sure what it is - I doubt its OEM. I do like it also. I'm not so sure about the top spoiler, but its kinda hacked on and would be more effort to remove it than its worth.
