thorburn 121 Report post Posted October 31, 2011 There were a lot of features that hartge offered that aren't there. Not at all easy to tell if the engine is a 2,2.5 or 2.8 Doesn't look all that special and my money is on it not being 2.8l

nath 132 Report post Posted October 31, 2011 Apart from the badge & engine cover I cant see anything to suggest its anything other than a stock 325 @ Nath--details please I had an uncle with a 4 door one who had it done on his back whenevner. I don't think it's a car that needs heated debate mind, a tweaked engine alone doesn't add much value if any to a car like these. Also aside from receipts from a workshop, anyone with half a brain can guess that there will not be any other evidence, and certainly not on its rego. Very rare if genuine so i'd say it would be worth more than your average. The chasiss comes up as a 2.5 but i assumed that as it came out of the BMW factory as a 325, however the sheep gate swings side to side, some go to countries for sale, some go to the Hartge factory, some go to the Hamman factory and some go to the Schnitzer factory etc etc so this may have gone to Hartge factory??????? Who knows.

DrphTa 5 Report post Posted November 2, 2011 He has stuffed the auction up so bad To be honest, if it was genuine. He would know exactly what he was selling. He got the colour and ks wrong. Just a knob trying to make a dollar. "The lady I bought it off spoke to a mechanic who 'may have said' it had a 2.8l in it" How vague can he be?
