the interior smell of a bmw depends if it has leather or not...If the leather is well looked after it always smells great

Haha all my E30's have smelt the same. And my 540 had the same smell as all our E36's.

Mercs have there own smell too. Same with Jags.

Jap cars however smell like nothing. Holdens and Fords smell like rental cars.

Maybe its the stuffing degrading in the seats? Otherwise definitely all the vinyl in the cabin. I love it. miss it so much.

Don't think so, neither of the E36's or E32's have smelled the same.

I think your right. I had the interor of my e30 in the sleepout at my old place (never used apart from that) go in there a month later and smells like e30 ha. E34 not so much though strangely

i dont smell anything now, i guess your nose gets used to it. The smell definitely changes depending on weather.

Prolly just the combination of the interior materials.

Yes they do all seem to smell the same.

Variations will be due to degradation, humidity, damp carpets etc

i dont smell anything now, i guess your nose gets used to it. The smell definitely changes depending on weather.

Yeah I dont smell it if I drive it on the reg, but after a month of not driving it or whatever I notice it.

After giving the carpet a waterblast and a good vacuum, it smells awesome in there. Gotta love that e30 smell.

Hmm All jap imports smell like air freshner or carpet cleaner as 90% of the people who owned them smoke.

My e30 at least smells not so bad ... have been in some cars and it smells like someones taken a dump in them. That or moving around dead bodys
