Only and yes ONLY in America. Imagine what a judge would say about that in NZ? Wouldn't even make it past the front door.

Maybe the no sex is the reason for the permanent erection and he is embarrassed so is blaming the bike?

Yeah, I thought that! It's the US though - it's BIZARRE what people sue for! The guy probably fitted it himself anyway

There was a woman who sued a shop over there, because a toddler ran in front of her in the shop and she fell over and broke a hip or something. She won the case. It was her child.....

They should sue him for expenses, because he hasn't had to pay for Viagra, and they've provided the same service to him ;)

If they don't like their burger at Mcdonalds the'll sue the sh*t out of them too. Very very different place over there, filled with very special people.

Or the case of a child in a coffee shop spilled his drink on the floor, so mother got up to get a cloth to wipe up. She slipped on the (wet from her child's drink) floor, sued the shop...... and won!!

In NZ I have a feeling that ACC will pay out to someone who trips over robbing your house. Correct me if I am wrong, I may be confusing it with the USA story.

That would sound about right though, utter stupidness!

Ah, yes, that used to be the case. However, a story a while ago of a burglar falling through a skylight and smashing his legs got sufficiently large number of people up in arms in protest at his ACC funded recovery. I am sure the law was changed so that if you were convicted of committing a crime, or if the injury was "conceived" during the execution of a crime then ACC does not cover.

As it bloody shouldn't either! Hurt your leg whilst comminting a crime = getting legs cut off!!
