I don't care if it's crap, I'll just switch channels but lots of people have taken exception to the government funding body, NZonAir, pumping almost half a million bucks into this tripe under the pretext that it's celebrating successful contemporary Maori people living and working in Australia. Clearly their definition of success is landing a government funded role in a sh*t [not quite real] reality show aimed at people who've been hit on the head too many times. Pretty much, it was sold as a documentary style show about young Maori living and "making it" in Australia. In reality what they should have done would have been to present a single page of A3 written in crayon "iZ to makes a sweetazzzz show like da jersy shore" That would have been more accurate. All the program shows is their 'pretend' glamorous lifestyle of partying, babes, dramas and hooking up with 'aunties' LOL.. doesn't really portray any reality to the topic they are suppose to cover.
