Do you have any carparts in your bedroom?

Recommended Posts

No, I have a perfectly good garage for car parts. And besides, it wouldn't go down to well with the better half.

Even so, I try to keep any excess bits to a minimum in the garage.

In the house I have a Momo steering wheel, a pair of rear coilovers, a pair of rear Monobloc Brembo's.

In the past I've had set's of wheels which make good coffee tables, turbochargers, cam covers etc...

Much to the wifes disgust I must say.

i would keep my car in my room if i could.

I can if I move the odd bit of furniture. One external wall of my bedroom opens out with double barn-like doors. In fact, at one stage I kept my van in there when I was living somewhere else.

But no car parts in there except a handful of car-audio bits.

Everything else is in the shed where it belongs.

Edit: well pretty much all the furniture, so no I can't sleep next to it unless I want to ditch my bed and sleep on the floor or in the car.

  • Standard Steering wheel
  • 325i gearshift lever (dunno if being a 325i one it makes a diff)
  • F/L rearlights
  • Airbox
  • Side repeaters
  • Front valance brake ducts (not the ducts themselves but the colour coded pieces that you actually see on the valance)
  • Front seat sheepskin covers
  • Set of bottlecaps with rubber
  • Front indicator lens
All E30 parts of course off my car.

Well, not the bedroom, but:

A complete set of what I assume are standard springs/shocks for the convertible and that under dash panel (below steering wheel) after it fell on me on the trip to Raglan 3 weeks ago. 1 centre cap for a BBS 15 cross spoke and 5 litres of Castrol Formula R.

I've got Carpet in my house. Was that a typo Tim?

Andrew, I've seen carparts in your house! A full set of wheels, spoilers and other things while you where having a Tutu with your car.

I've got a Supertourer piston and one from the Budweiser Rail (600ci Donovan).
