Young Thrash Driver 1020 Report post Posted April 2, 2014 So it would seem there is a hole in the market for the truly brand conscious when it comes to shoes. Never fear, Rebel Sport has come and saved the day. Not content with selling Ferrari branded shoes, it now seems that the market demands shoes labled "BMW Motorsport" too! All yours for a very reasonable $140 ish, sorry ladies you miss out on this one. Maybe they'll do you a Hello Kitty shoe if you ask nicely.

Young Thrash Driver 1020 Report post Posted April 2, 2014 You have Hello Kitty shoes? My faith in the female kind has just taken a nosedive... http://www.rebelsport.co.nz/footwear/mens/8069495/Puma-Mens-Drift-Cat-5-BMW-Lifestyle-Shoes.html

E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted April 2, 2014 (edited) There has been a collaboration between BMW and Puma for a number of years, they have produced the BMW Motorsport trainers between them and there are 4 or five styles in total. http://www.shopbmwusa.com/LIFESTYLE/BMW-COLLECTIONS/BMW-MOTORSPORT In addition there is a whole BMW Athletics range which has a number of good running shoes in it amongst other things. You'd be amazed what there is in the catalogue... Surprised they have ended up being available in Rebel Sport though. Driftit 2078 Report post Posted April 2, 2014 I have some MacGyver shoes somewhere. They have sweet valcro straps and reflectors. Bit small now sadly. Sometimes I am jealous at how cheap the Mrs gets her shoes (short chicks shoes are like $8). Only because I want to spend less on shoes and more on car parts. I have to say I would not be caught dead wearing BMW shoes.
Allanw 1071 Report post Posted April 2, 2014 (edited) OH my GOD! BMW sell clothes - I must get some... and when it's new car time, I'll get a Doctor Martin..... Is it just me, or should BMW branded clothes just be for BMW employees??? Maybe I'll start wearing scrubs for casual social events.... E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted April 3, 2014 Is it just me, or should BMW branded clothes just be for BMW employees??? Good idea! Then only rugby players who are in a game can wear rugby shirts, especially those hideous green warriors things, followed quickly by polyester football shirts being banned on all middle aged men and small boys.
M5V8 337 Report post Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) I have used similar puma shoes for both track & road and they are actually excellent driving shoes. (not great for long walks however). Not sure if the BMW logo cut's down your lap times however. note: at a recent event the marshal's were cracking down on the use of these shoes over proper FIA approved fire retardant boots. all depends how much you value your toes. Tidy30 38 Report post Posted April 3, 2014 Who buys $140 shoes from Rebel Sport? Conscientious shoppers! Especially when there's a big sale and they're marked down from $999 to only $199. What a deal! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Tidy30 38 Report post Posted April 3, 2014 I did the Tongariro Crossing in my tall Blundstones a while ago. I was more comfortable walking on all the terrain than any other hiking boot, and got a much better workout because the boots were around twice the weight!
