BMWTouring 20 Report post Posted June 5, 2014 Nice, I love E65's... They cop a lot of flack but I've had two now, both NZ New, an 02 745i and an 06 750i. Both amazing cars... and actually I preferred the 745i to drive as mine had Dynamic Drive and every option. Underrated car in my opinion, and an awesome long distance cruiser.. I even like the styling!

deeveus 81 Report post Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Yeah, mine doesn't have the dynamic drive I don't think and yep, bang for buck you can't get much better, peoples jaws drop when I tell them I only paid 6k for mine. You don't have to look far to see that people prefer the NZ New cars, mine has a full BMW service history. Another thing is that there's very few of these down my way. I've seen a handful since buying mine, there's a NZ New 760li that gets around often but that's virtually all I've really seen, and another black 745i, another thing is that it does attract a lot of attention & having love/hate looks I'm guessing people are being sick in their mouths or a few actually admiring the car lol. But here's the list of stuff it does have.. deeveus 81 Report post Posted June 6, 2014 Good buy, I'm still waiting for the thanks for the heads up on this after you were looking at the import one. Haha, thanks The imported sale; he wouldn't budge on 6k, it was a Singapore import with over 270kms and looked like a bashed red headed step child compared to my NZ New one. euroriffic 607 Report post Posted June 6, 2014 Oyea I have! Even let him drive it! Was with a trailer on it tho so preformance was abit hindered. Combined Bout it being too low to get out of and suspension a bit too hard

sonic_attack 89 Report post Posted June 7, 2014 6K? Hell I thought a fairly immaculate e34 at 2.5K was a bargain. That's a lot of car for the price. Damn..
_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted June 7, 2014 id say! thats super cheap. Would still rather an E38 if i wanted a 7 series, but damn thats cheap, they still look like a 20k car imo even with all their ugliness lol

München 1 Report post Posted January 7, 2015 Love it ! My E65 745 was the exact same colour, with Styling 93's though. really miss it nowadays, though i'm about to pick up a E38 in Dunedin in two days, so that would at least get me back into a 7. kulgan 1042 Report post Posted January 9, 2015 Thats a hell of a find at 6k. I've been looking at them on TM and there are a few very decent E65's for the 8-10k range. I've wanted to upgrade my 740i for a while now. My first preference would have been another E38 but a 750i. Cant find one at all. So I've been considering a e60 545i but the price of a nice E65 is hard to go past. Anyway, very nice car you have there.
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted January 9, 2015 Amazing value for money... I guess it does reflect the love hate aspect of the early E65s though. There are a few other car models like that where they have dropped to the bottom of the market for being out of the ordinary. Win win if you like them!
