jonomayo 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2015 What does everyone think about this? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=840509065&open_homes=®ion=&district= Seems cheap? I know it doesnt have the good euro engine but still not a bad price if its tidy? How can it be road legal in LHD form? Cheers
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 24, 2015 Its been resprayed which could make it hide some mysteries. I'd never buy a car with a half done respray, they didn't even bother with the engine bay! LHD Non Euro engine All those factors would turn some local buyers away, hence the price. around 5-7k would get you a good genuine 328i, possibly in manual. qube 3570 Report post Posted April 24, 2015 but wouldnt you still prefer an m3 for 8k than a 328 for 7k?
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted April 24, 2015 Not if I could essentially never overtake anyone on an open road because I would live in fear of pulling out and getting into a head on.

Matth5 471 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 Don't understand why they would bother importing this to NZ...
Driftit 2093 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 Don't understand why they would bother importing this to NZ... Would have been someone who has no idea what it is. Many a car dealer falls for an incorrectly listed model. They forget if it is too good to be true then....
qube 3570 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 why is it not a 'real' m3?
Allanw 1072 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) why is it not a 'real' m3? They're bascially just a 328i with 200cc more. 240 hp in either 3.0 or 3.2 versions, instead of the 286 and 321 of the "euro" spec cars. Edit: and a lot of the M3 "goodies" missing to.
