Herbmiester 922 Report post Posted June 28, 2019 So the floors on my E36 coupe are wet, quite wet. The car has a sunroof is that the likely culprit? What else do I need to check?
str8_6 275 Report post Posted June 28, 2019 Make sure the side vent windows are closing tightly (they can be adjusted). Mine leaked and used to soak the seatbelt and carpet. Also clear sunroof drains. Not sure if the vapor barriers cause leaking in this model but that could be another cause.

Herbmiester 922 Report post Posted June 30, 2019 Ok I think I found the problem or at least one of the problems. The cowling scuttle was full of decomposed leaves and dirt. Its a complete bitch of a job to fix as there is just no room to work.
