The term "shooting brake" comes from turn-of-the-century England, where it referred to a car used to transport a hunting party and its gear. "Brake" referred to a chassis that was used to break in horses. ... Thus was the modern idea of a shooting brake born as a low, sleek two-door wagon.

Or if you prefer something a little more upmarket... no-one is going to outclass you when you roll up for a days shooting at the Royal Estate in one of these :)

Hard to say ? There appears to be an insatiable demand for uber expensive bespoke vehicles, and the shooting brake is not too far away from this limited edition (40 cars) of the black badge Wraith. One-upmanship is alive and well among the super rich :)

Cheers...

The gentleman's agreement that BMW would make the Roadster and Toyota the hard top version of the joint collaboration would probably come into it as well.

Even Ferrari has a shooting brake in it's stable.  A bit more "Clown Shoe-ish" (Z3 coupe) than the Z4 shape.
