antil33t 90 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 E30 Torque Convertor bolt torque settings? I think mine are what is causing the rattle on engine shut down. Anyone know what they should be torqued to? Can't find it in my manuals... they also need to be loc-tited too I think?
pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 never tourqed them in my life, so long as they are good and tight and locktighted... seems like an odd thing to be making a rattle though.
antil33t 90 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 I'm just ruling them out aye... I didn't loctight them or torque them. (noob mistakes)
JaseNZ 53 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 As per Murphy's law states and on my birthday i had to take the car into the shop for a scan as it was not running right, Scan reveals misfire on cylinder 5, Looks like its time for a coil replacement, Its the older type bolt in one, I just need to know cylinder order does it go 1 at the front (bumper) and sequential to the back 6 (firewall).
