I must be super rude, but If I find myself behind someone doing 80-90 in the fast lane, I slap my highbeams on, and indicate to the right so they get a picture.. It eventually gets through to them.. Or if left lane is clear will pass... Sometimes the horn comes into play if Im feeling generous.. Pet peeve for me, and call me rude but if they aren't following courteous road rules, I seem to forget my manners...

Common practice for these scum bags. Worked at Baycorp for a full week before walking out on them many years ago. Training consisted of lying and tricking the person you are harassing into paying. There was a huge number of people that I contacted for unpaid bills where Baycorp had selected the wrong person. Yet it was up to the accused to clear their name. Internal competition for getting people to pay. Near no checks for orgs claiming someone owes them funds. Just lodge it and let baycrap hassle them for months whilst they try and prove themselves innocent.

Got the steering column hooked up again, so was able to take it for a little drive. Only out of the garage and down the driveway, but it's a start! Good news is that the clutch and gear change work as they should. Managed to make my first cock-up due to the dog-leg shift, hopefully get that out of the way quickly. Slight problem with the sway bar clashing on the manifold... But should be able to work around that somehow.

right, i am overhauling my cooling system anyway, so hopefully I can replace things and end up with a nominal 100c average running temp. lots of plastic bits and pieces in the cooling system which are best to be replaced with metallic parts or high temp rubber. looking forward to the refresh, along with the suspension bush overhaul and also (if required) an engine refresh ... wont be cheap to replace internals/rings if required .. but want to make sure everything is humming along smoothly

I just imported a car from the UK in October. It is entirely accurate. What is your basis for claiming it isn't true?

Agree with jason h. I know how to use the rear view mirror so all good. I hate it the most when drivers on the motorway line up next to each other on all 3 lanes going like 80kmh..

That steering wheel clean works a treat. I couldn't find soap flakes at the super so used a bar of soap instead. I didn't even notice mine had "M" colored stitching until I saw this thread because it was so black, now mine looks like yours. Stoked!

the i5 ones have display port built in, no external card. Havent decided what to do with those yet, we may tidy them up and sell. these core2s, some have the dual DVI port 256MB NVidia cards, some of them run straight off VGA mother board. You can choose which This thread more for the scruffy but working well Core2s that would be uneconomical to repair the cases etc, I have about 300 or so here. 2.4GHz+ 1GB+ HDD 80GB+ wont gaurentee specs, but they are all working, and plenty grunty for a garage setup. Would rather not put too much IT jargon in here, im aware not everyone here knows what it all means.
