not really Some say avoid singapore cars, some say some singapore cars dont have heaters hooked up.The main thing with imports is do you know history.Be careful with NZ cars too.Kiwis are not very good at spending money on cars.Make sure you get one that you can get a god service history.Nothing wrong with a 530 unless you are towing a heavy trailer. Take your time ,get to know what the market variations are.I spent a year looking for my first BMW!

Bought this a month or two ago and it seems to work pretty well. Can get to the diff no worries but front needs to be raised first to reach a solid jacking point. It's also really light! No double pump like hybrid's post but it is $150 cheaper so choose your poison. If you're really serious, there are beasts like this which are seriously low and seriously long, but because it's steel it comes to a whopping 50kg!

Hand license in. Buy a dirt bike and use that to get around and don't stop for cops for the next 3 months

June progress: Friends overseas hooked me up some Pressies came over. Thank you fam bams for the support. Was give JOM adjustables. Most people frown on these due to it's apparent cheap price. I've installed a couple in other cars. The only issue I've come across are that sometimes, the springs are too soft. So here we go: First I bought 51mm front struts Cut the spring plates Clean up, paint, assemble Installed I can sack the car down to the sump, but there's no point to that. Done in 3 days. The lengthy wait was only for paint to dry.

6K for a new trans or 5.5K for a rebuild? If I was spending enough to buy X2 running/legal e38's I'd just throw the extra $500 at the brand new one.
