10 pointsI had pulled over one night at about 1am to disconnect my horns as I had a faulty horn button and the horns kept going randomly. As I got back in my car I noticed a group of 4-5 coming towards me quickly that I had a bad feeling about. I had just started the car and about to take off when one tryed to rip me out of the car. I floored it and took off, he finally fell away / let go at about 60kph and I felt him hit the back of the car. No idea what happened to him, nor do I care. No need for people like that

4 pointsThis an a few other incidents are why i'm overly security conscious. Its not just with cars either, When touring with my band around NZ & Aus the unfortunate downside is dealing with drunk and other shady people at 3am. You learn to get a pretty good judge of people pretty quick and avoidance is the best way. If it looks like trouble, it pretty much will be. Have door locks set to lock after 30kph (can code that stuff in on '99+ cars) That and driving at night coming up to red light intersections is always scope for opportunists and drunk red light runners (so many of these)...

2 pointsthat raises an interesting point - while a "big stick" (bahaha) could likely be construed as a weapon should you have a socket wrench under your seat its unlikely it could be proven that it hadn't "slipped under there" from the back seat unless, ofcouse, you write about it on a forum

1 pointI installed the unit about 6 months agoish. Was New. Just seems to happen periodically, but the first couple of times was when the music got a bit loud.. Shall find tester and test tonight.. Oh sh*t I can't it will be at 4 and Rotary's. Damn. Yeah, I will pull it all out eventually and test it. It just seems randomly odd.

1 pointInteresting. Do you suspect it happens with vibrations when the car moves etc? As that would point to wiring issues, possibly in behind the unit or fuse / power distribution box. If it just happens randomly, I suspect it could be internal issues with the unit itself.... is it a stock item that came with the car? If so electronics do tend to wear out so you could have an issue of dry tracks / leaking Capacitors. I would be inclined to remove the unit, hook up a multimeter on the power feeds and see they hold at the correct voltages without cutting off. If that is the case it would be an internal head unit issue.

1 pointHonestly, what the f**k. Where was this? I've been pretty carefree about this kinda stuff but this is pretty alarming. Time for a stroker I think, so I can pull away fast enough...

1 pointMTS north shore. They are bloody awesome. The owner is one of my good mates but besides that the quality of work is excellent. They offer all sorts of services. From air bag suspensions to coil over set ups to tyres and rims to guard rolling etc. Excellent to deal with and just up the road from me

1 pointJust wear a rubber band and every time you see it do some exercise, it'll be heaps cheaper and you'll likely see the same results...... ;-)

1 pointGot a few more goodies today! Smoked corners and gloss black kidney grills with matching side gills. I must say the fitment is not great at all (from Khoalty) and I will be asking for an exchange or refund based on the quality. Nevertheless I installed them temporarily. I also popped into see George as he installed his Agency Power Exhaust. We took a little video with the cars side by side. Video link is below. The Agency Power starts first... 1 pointHmm E46 M3 for me but i love the E30's. And im a big fan of the E36 series cars. The newer cars are nice, but i think BMW is moving in the wrong direction, too heavy and too many gadgets. I know they could never go back to making a car like the E30 because of safety and other issues but i hope i never see the day that an M3 comes out with a 2 ton curb weight! I am eventually going to go back to a E36 car as i had more fun in a cheaper car to be honest and the E36 is beautifully balanced and the weight of the car felt about right. Less power but power isnt everything.

1 pointI wish, can't afford neither at this stage. Was thinking more along the lines of an E36 evo .
