I realise I may be buying into some drama, but it seems the really hard work of the conversion itself has been taken care of, part of my road map for it would be to soon Aquire a second engine to refresh and drop in during the manual conversion. i think I'll fly up and check it out myself next weekend, it's more than how f**ked it is or isn't, will I actually like driving it is somthing I should probably find out.

Hi all. Is anyone wrecking a manual e34? Problem found and it was half shaft seizing that sheared diff bolts. I'm getting diameter details soon but already know manual shafts are bigger than the Autos. And anyone know roughly what used half shafts are worth? Any help would be great

Actually it's not even that exciting, it's Confomity of Production. Which relates to the homologation and approval of the vehicle for emissions and safety systems. etc. To be able to "prove" that every car manufactured meets the standards passed by the original test vehicle one in every 100 or so built of the same model has to be pulled off the production line and tested to the same regulations. You will be able to see the two option codes 01CA and 8SP which both relate to the CoP which basically show the production team that this particular unit is built under the Conformity rules and can possibly be extracted for testing.

Sooooo, Rickooos may not have been the vendor doing a direct shill, but he admits the car is his friends, and he doesn't know what happened with the auction he won and failed to complete... s54 is a amazing engine! but i'm sure your just like me. You will buy the s54 and then still want to put the Extreme on it and push it never harder . if you do want a s54 Pm me I know of one that's just been rebuild and the owner no longer wants it. IMO buy the ecu and push your current engine to the limit without buying cams ect then when you are ready for the s54 you will already have the ECU!

I can't wait there either 0-60msport! especially an angry sounding v12 Hey EuroV8 i hadn't thought of that but now you mention it. As i will be getting the shop that is taking care of the electrical side to mount the engine in, I'll get him to save the design in some sort of form and put it on here for any1 else that would like to do the same swap.
