Very interesting that it gets the S58 engine from M Division, rather than a hotted up version of the M340i engine, the 3 Series wagon platform. Looking at how they have developed the power delivery of the engine it looks like Alpina are sticking with their tried-and-tested "undersatated Autobahn Stormer" approach, very cool. If only Alpina would so some proper crash testing, so they can be complied in NZ. And if only M Gmbh would build that M3 Wagon (althought HellBM do a pretty excellent job locally!).

Also, if you jack up each corner as you bleed that corner you'll encourage any bubbles that are in there to pop out.

Remove, clean and test the throttle position sensor (TPS) also. Mine gave me all sorts of crazy engine symptoms until I tracked it down. You need a range of ~3 ohms between min and max throttle on both sets of pins (centre+left, centre+right) as you actuate the sensor by hand. It should be a smooth increase (one side) and decrease (the other side). Range should be from about 1.5 ohms to 4.5 ohms but the ~3 ohm delta is the important part.

These were done for the finishing off phase, of our e30 'show car,' to coincide with the sale process. The car sold within an hour of being offered on the market. Surprisingly, the new owner elected for the race seat option instead. So not needed in the forseeable future by us. Selling off to finish the next project. Upholstery as new, they were in the car for but a day when it was sold, so basically once around the block use only. To clarify the bottom and top squabs come with the head restraints, and the blue Sparcoes were the oned sold with the e30. Yeah, check out what a professional upholsterer would charge, using quality material, for doing a similar job as these! Take $1400.

M2 comp Vs. Supra.... Toyota building a better BMW than BMW build an M car... (wtf...) (also not the Toyota is more expensive there, whereas in NZ base model Supa is 30k less...)

Well bed the pads in today they got some nice bite now. The instructions said 10 stops 130km to 30km, so did a bit of illegal Nascar up my road. Drove into town after and didn't rear end anyone so that's good. But I'm pretty sure it feels a little bit more spongy than before so might go hard bleeding it again. When the car is off I have to pump it once and then it's firm, so I guess that's a sign there is air somewhere in there, but at least it's drivable.
