Toight man!! A few changes...but nothing major. NOT BAD AT ALL!!??...first time fabricating headers with a drop saw, an angle grinder, less bends and to trying to make them as equal lenght as can be done...no 4 on right 10-15 too short..F! ...the rest close ... Now to weld the muddhas, without them warping. ...?some will be done on engine and will make a JIG with stoppers.... Also gear lever fault....pivot arm touches gearbox cos I had to shorten lever mount and shaftby 65 mm...supposed to be 80....she'll just sit 15 mm more to the rear...ot was a HARD descision to make...?

Purchased her 4 years ago as a project, didn't even have my license yet, got her (and me) road legal, currently replacing the engine, still keeping with a m20b20 as the old motor had some crash damage and this is my first time doing a engine swap, wanted an easy swap as a first time. Lowered and new shocks, in the middle of swapping the 45mm front struts to the 51mm struts, just waiting on new strut tops before I can finish the swap. Wanting to ITB and turbo when funds allow.

Not sure about the file you have here and the EWS delete. Yes you can disable EWS from DME, and car wont start without the paired key ( as EWS has still disabled starter, however ignition and injection is enabled in DME). This means even without the key the car could still be push started. Or the EWS unit just unplugged and the two starter wires joined together.

attached are the files I used to flash my 330i. the change is significant. - you get the launch control, burble(only whilst not moving and reving it - poser mode), ews delete, better fuel consumption, etc etc I had a spare DME to play with.. so I can just replace the stock DME if required. but I never have! - BTW, The EWS delete still maintains the security of the key pairing- ie the car won't start without a paired key still. cheers MotorwerkeAgressive.bin MS430056_M54B30_Logger_EWSsignature_CHK5off_LC.bin

Yes you can keep ews. Also you can increase throttle response while retaining icv.

I was looking at buying one for a while but I will custom make one instead out of alloy because of the confined space.

e28's seem to be the flavour for this month. A 525ae has been my tow vehicle for the last 8-10 years, the most reliable car I,ve owned, torquey, very frugal on petrol and a great cruising car.
