Hi guys, does anyone have a couple of spare second hand working coils in the Wellington region? I thought I had some spares but I cant for the life of me find them and its going to take some time to get my new set delivered from the states. I could really do with having my car running between now and then. Cheers gents

The one I use is a clear, about 1.5mm thick gel like tape with a red backing, used by signwriters etc, it will pull the paint off your doors if you're not careful! I got mine from Bunnings, we get it at work through Primepac in much larger rolls.

It sure will . I mounted my number plates with it and a sky box in the motor home. I've used it for heaps of things. I've got 1.5 rolls here which I need. You will need braid fishing line to get it off. It might be 3m but I can't find it on their web site. The rolls are not big... about 60mm diameter and 16mm wide. The tape is black with a green backing tape

Bunnings have a double sided water proof tape I've used at work and home. I can't remember the brand but it has a green backing. It's quite often used for installing mirrors in bathrooms

A Staggered set with 8.5 rears like a style 23, 24 or 32 will look good. Rears on an 8.5 will be 245 40 17 and will fill the rear out nicely.

3M VHB, expensive but effective.

Just got a bunch of emails from NZPost advising my parcel has now arrived in NZ, cleared customs and is in transit to local depot. Went from not knowing where in the world Carmen Sandiego it is to almost being on my doorstep very quickly. Im guessing that tracking is on the piss, but things are moving, albeit slowly. It would've been nice for NZPost to communicate this though, instead of fobbing me off. Thats all I wanted, some clear communication. In contrast, I can also concur that AliX stuff is arriving quicker than ever, i've had things ordered and arrive during lockdown. Faster than getting things from Trademe.
