Awesome I’ll have a look today, She’s definitely has her wear and tear the past few years just sitting there... once I get bonnet latch, new tyres and brake pads and quite a few other little things she’s going on to panel & paint shop.... hasn’t had a wof in a very long time... all my fault , work got too hectic and forget about this gem.

I spent a few weeks over Xmas exploring some of the lesser traveled roads of the South Island with fellow Biimmer enthusiast Boytie. Had a grand old time saw some bits of NZ that most don't and got to test our skills and abilities on some interesting roads and passes. My bike is a 2012 BMW F800GS and Boytie rode his old F650GS. The F650 had a couple of issues but none that stopped us for too long. The 800 was a model of reliability and handled the dirt very well.

Hi all! I’m new to this thing but wanting to get this old boy up and good, Engine works sweet, nothing wrong but We’ve had it for 13 ish years? So basically I’m having a bit of trouble finding some parts that I’m needing for it?? Can’t seem to find any stores to help me, I need a new bonnet latch (the old one has broken off!) and wanting to find all new trims, aswell as some new interior stuff possibly door cards (I know it’s a bit of a stretch) any suggestions on a good parts shop to buy off? Would it be better off having a look on trade me for de parting?

Whilst they are asking a fair amount over the original RRP there is a story behind this and the guy did not buy it to flip it.

Last time we push this beast😬 She looking different nowdays. The semi chisel contours of the 36 feeling more defined...like shes finally almost ready, stanced, not for low'ness, but for whats under her hood...eagerly awaiting to be unleashed!! And those 3.5s look mental from a distance.....like..."look at this POSER"😂😂

Just realised that this thread got a little bit left behind 😂 anyway, engine has been in and running for a wee while now with a NA setup, staying that way for now until we get some more things sorted on the car finally got the wilwoods onto her this afternoon and dayum 😍😍 currently have the engine out of it, we fully rebuilt it before it went in but have had some troubles with the rear main seal so chucked a new one in, brake lines and a few other bits sorted whilst we are in there! about to start on some aero to get some better flow through the engine bay as it gets a little toasty in there!

The end of the welding on the car body !!! Hooray. The next time the welder comes out it'll be to locate the engine in its final position

Gave the car a full detail, been holding off on this for a while until I had some panel and paint done and redid the seats. Got a few nice snaps as well - used a polarizer for the reflections which worked great. Wash with Carpro Reset Wheel clean with Meguiars wheel cleaner Polyshave (clay block) Rinse and dry Hand polish with Menzerna 2400 Solution finish trim restorer and Fireball tire wax Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax Carpro Elixer to finish
