Hi all, I have just ordered a G81 M3 Touring, my first ever BMW. In fact it will be the second BMW I have ever driven, the first being the demo G80 M3 Comp xDrive sedan from the dealership. This car is my dream car, and I am really looking forward to enjoying it for a long time.

That's great. Also hate the sunroof. May all sunroofs burn in hell.

So it seems that no one else is as adventurous (stupid) as me and this hasn't been snapped up! so it looks like parting it out is the best option... But in case someone is lurking around waiting for the price to come down i will happily wave it goodbye for $500 as i am sick of mowing around it! Comes with all the spare parts and i can part with the set of style 66 wheels that i have, for the right price if anyone is keen, they need cosmetic work and painting. Have a read of the thread to see what parts have already gone into it. My other half is getting a bit disgruntled so if it is still on my lawn over the Christmas break it will be getting dismantled - possibly for use in a demo derby, not sure yet....

Oh cool, its a underrated place for sure, most people just stay in the airport. I think it may be a while before Monitor Lizard curry is available in Auckland? Did you go to the Zoo? Was probably the best Zoo I have ever been too, mainly because they let you into the enclosures and I had the chance to see a white tiger up close.. and Speaking of Lizards, there was one enclosure that had us standing next to a Comodo dragon, I was scared. Glad you had a good trip, and you are right with the lack of vibrance, Kiwi's seem to mostly occupied with what their house is worth and then never leaving it unless they are going to a shopping mall or McDonalds.

I feel like I can see how brittle the plastics are in the engine bay of that E39.
