Family roadie to the BoP. Couple of days in the bush and driving around a mates farm, perfect.

Worked for Eroad in it's early days. Some heavy trucks would do that in a month. Also depends on how often that breach is logged. Usually every 1 min over is a new incident. By law you must be below the speed limit where the sign post is mounted. E.g. from a 80 zone to a 50 zone you must be below 50 before the sign post. Nobody does that. Most companies only cared about the top 10 to 20 % of beaches. Catching the drivers who a well over. I had the high score for Eroad staff for a while. Shame it was the poor kid from Firestone test driving my car. Got a free alignment though after I advised them. I would want to see his speed report. And if it is not a calibrated government approved device like Eroad then the data is irrelevant. I spent hours every day updating GIS data to set the correct speed limits. Only had to be 50m off and it would generate a speeding log.

oh lighten up, most of it is just dry humour, you have to laugh or you would go mad at the lunacy of it all and no there's certainly been no mention of there being a concerted effort to fill positions based on gender not skill by the various forces inc police, //sarc Look at Boeing ffs, DEI is working well there no one will be at fault or be punished, they never are, its never anyone s fault, sh*t just happens, luckily we have endless money to just fix all these slight bumps in the matrix, NZ taxpayers have unlimited funds and we just need to give a few more hugs, your correct its not likely she was at the helm at the time and if our local mayor can oversee a coverup of a poisoned townswater well (Havelock North) where people died and then get promoted to an govt mp then she will have no issues whatsoever and will probably be back at work by xmas. Our Captain? so we had a say in who was hired, promoted, Funnily I doubt you will say that about our Trump, if he wins for example god help anyone for having the temerity to wonder what the heck they were doing on a reef in high winds in the dark, how dare anyone be suspicious that there wasn't a massive human error here somewhere. the rescue sounds horrific, first boat landed at 1am after abandoning at 8pm and the last made shore at 7am 12hrs later?, some of the locals were real heroes and risked everything swimming in the dark in massive seas to rescue boats

What was wrong with that car?

Yeah agreed, its not as though the captain twirls the big wooden wheel anymore. Will be a whole string of fups... Actually feel sorry for her, she doesnt appear to be a DEI hire at all, gets all the stress of being in charge of a big boat and the extra stress of "dont f&ck it up" stress because of being female and having the perceived DEI hire angle.

And 24 hrs to clean that whole interior, clean prep, re-dye, nourish and protect the leather! It looked yecchhhy to me. 😎 Still, there are worse examples in NZ - like that one ex-Kapiti, more recently Christchurch that was turned over quickly...

https://www.imore.com/iphone/best-wireless-carplay-adapter-year I still recommend something like this, I've got the carplay unit albeit not in a bmw currently but it would solve alot of the issues, it works faultlessly although takes about 15 seconds to connect and bring the phone screen up in car. See the iphone 16 now has 45w wireless charging and next year they are bringing out a whole new generation carplay although it doesn't appear bmw have signed on yet https://www.macrumors.com/2024/03/13/apple-next-generation-carplay-recap/
