Hi All - have had this car for about 3 years, installed Apple Car play - been a good reliable motor while we've had it, gets about 850k-900km on a single tank and the interior is in impeccable condition. Has good set of M sport 19" alloys (rear 275 and front 245 R19s). Has done 162,000kms todate, will come with upto date WOF and some RUC. Looking for $12k but negotiable. Had a decent go at cutting and polishing. Lots of trial and error along the way but getting the hang of it… Test area to see how hardy the paint is. On to cutting the fr guard. Then the sides and the roof, which I never thought would come up well, lots of deep scratches. Gave it a wet sand first. After cutting the sides and roof I expected this sh*t to appear under bright lighting.. Up until now i’d been using a rotary polisher so i switched to a DA and got rid of most of it. Happy how it turned out Got the hatch and bumpers to do. Won’t bother with the bonnet until i can find a straight one with saveable black sapphire metallic paint.

Doesn't stop them breaking into them, and vandalising the interior when they can't drive off with it. Happens a lot with NZ New cars that have immobilisers, they tear the ignition to bits, find they can't hotwire it, and start smashing headunits, gauges, cutting seats and headlinings, dumb stuff thats a real pain to replace. Little shits need a damn good smack.

Some responsible mods (not me) deleted a thread before I could have my chance to reply, but in summary: Someone bought an old second hand car that is renowned for developing oil leak issues. It was purchased without a warranty or an independent PPI. 3 months later it developed oil leaks and they wanted the seller to return it back to the condition it was sold in. The request was made a single time before starting a thread on bimmersport to complain. Completely unrelated, but I found it interesting given the age of the this forum that "Karen" as a display name was available right up until just today.
