I would stare at an oncoming Rangers headlights over looking at those wheels for another second.

Kia ora koutou, I'm selling a hen's tooth with a matching cap, both brand new and ready to collect from Epsom, Auckland. I'm willing to work with somebody to ship at their expense also, as long as that doesn't turn into a PITA for me. 1 x Brand New In Box BMW Performance "Aero" spoiler for the E81 or E87 chassis (51710306667). These have been NLA from BMW for years now, highly sought after. 1 x Matching, also brand new, Maxton Design spoiler "cap" for above. I will not split (but you can!). $900 for Bimmersporters of which $310 is for the Maxton cap which is exactly what I paid for it 5 years (or so) ago. That makes the Aero spoiler $590 which is less than the inflation adjusted dealer price from back in the day. So, not an insignificant sum but you're unlikely to ever get a better deal on brand new stuff (genuine new primed Aero spoilers were selling for over NZ$1,100 alone shortly after they were discontinued by BMW, painted were >NZ$1,400, if you could get the colour you needed). I won't negotiate on this before putting it on TM for a higher combined price (I'll try my luck there at ~$1,100). Spoiler is primed from the factory and will need to be painted, factory installed adhesive tape in place but a bonding agent should also be used, professional installation recommended. The spoiler cap also comes with adhesive tape installed from the factory and that should be all that's needed to install but please chat to your professional. Happy to entertain any questions, fire away! Thanks for looking.

I started my life with V8's, mustangs and thunderbirds. But my second teenage obsession was building MiniTrucks. The highlighter green "Killer B" B2200 with a garbage 305 V8 and airbags. I'll bag another one one day. Anyway, this is cool. Anyone got a yellow Ali G jumpsuit? https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/5451880461?utm_source=tmm-savedsearch&utm_medium=email&bof=TFet9Jet

Don't mind the air bags. But those are the ugliest rims I've ever seen.

Yes it's legal as long as you're not "obscuring" or "altering" any required "mark" which are the letters/numbers and security measures. Since any required screw holes will be tiny, you'd need to be pretty ham-fisted to contravene this obligation. It's hard to tell, but if your front plate has no holes then measure up anything that's already drilled into your bumper (for the plinth) and if you can get them to work for your plate, go for it. If your plate already has holes, I'd try and use them rather than drilling new.

Truly the worst example of a manual E30 touring I can imagine.

definitely - as @M3ANsays, drill the plate to match the existing holes in the bumper rather than the classic used car sales trick (see exhibit A below) of drilling a million holes in the bumper to attach the plate.

There are many things in life man wasn't meant to understand... Women and airbag suspension are just two of those things.

Yep, many do this, most modern BMW front bumpers have no accommodation for plates so you need to drill into them anyway if you're not going to tape the plate on. You just want to avoid multiple unnecessary holes for aesthetic purposes. It pays to use some type of security head screw so it at least makes it (slightly) more difficult to steal.

Likely. Is your 07 an LCI? The PCV is built into the cam cover. One of the dumbest decisions BMW has ever made on an engine IMO. When the PCV fails or begins to fail it can pressurize the crankcase and you will start to smell oil. Leave it long enough and you will start getting leaks. Are you sure you don't have a small leak that is dripping a small amount onto your exhaust?

"Professional" mechanics. I know there are legit mechanics out there, but f**k me are there some clowns out there doing bullshit work, is it just me or are they multiplying? These are both recent work done in the auckland area... I fix sh*t for a crust (self employed), not cars, but If I did work like this I would be questioning my life choices and wondering if working at DcMonalds would be more suited. I take all my cars, and the wife's, up the road for WOFs now as found there is an old school legit mechanic who I trust to have a clue and doesnt do sh*t work (Free plug for Hardwick Motors Ltd) but am genuinely concerned we aren't making any more of these folk.
