You would think so. It has obviously been 'well used'. But to be fair, this car has spend a good few years in the ownership and care of Ray at HellBM, and has has upgrades and tlc from the shop there to counter the higher km's. If you don't mind looking at big numbers on the odo, I reckon it'll hold together just fine.

He wasn't that interested in power, as he was meant to be comparing a "stock" 135i to his car lol. Was probably around 420whp still though, got an LSD now which has helped it out.

*snicker snicker* 🤣 Looks pretty awesome, keen to hear how it goes as I would like to add some additional piece of mind to mine at some stage also. Care to advise what the damage of product and freight was ? Does not look super freight friendly 😬

I have mine working again too. ex UK also. after doing a NBTevo retrofit, and subsequent ATM retrofit- both coded to original vin. ( previously had a business nav with tcb). took a bit of trickery with a eSIM swap from the tcb to the new atm, but it’s all fully functional. I could even had Rtti, weather, internet apps etc etc via the CD store. if anyone wants tips on the atm retrofit, just ask..

Also have an M50d F15, picked it up a few months for a song. Have got it remapped by Pramod Parag. Night and day would apply if it wasnt for having all of the go to start with. have done the start stop mod, and remapped the trans at the same. i also have brought an aftermarket transmission pan that is alloy, accomodates an aux temp sensor, and an extra 1.5L of oil. Although the cooler is thermostat controlled, it will decrease the amount they rise if doing a pull up hill with 3 tonnes of trailer on the back, which is what they are made for! also replaced the front grills and mirror caps for black ones, the silver looks naff, like youve got mirrors from another car or something Only thing i dont like about it is the interior colour is tan, which is hard to keep clean with my lifestyle. I prefer black, but ill just have to get used to cleaning the inside more regularly! happy motoring
