Nothing wrong with your RS4, powerful beast! edit: latest TBMW mag a guy hated the wood so much had it stripped off(just clips in) & painted silver, looked more modern instantly.

This is the one on Tradeyou, have you seen it? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-175439802.htm

Agree with Penry on this, a car like that needs a dealer inspection so buy elsewhere. There is an 05 import on trademe for 100k, McMillan serviced, get them to inspect & ask questions about service costs, won't be cheap.
-
Top of the line there Aaron, the alloys look superb! Not many GOOD E34 535is factory sports left now. I was told from overseas the factory built 3610 of these, i don't know if this is accurate.

Car looks good with the classic 5 spoke snitz, in my day students couldn't drive around in flash german V8's. We must have been poor poor poor students.
-
Fortunately with a new bonnet & front end grills you can change it back to the original design.

2.5 ltr prepared by BMW Motorsport.(1990) Carbon fibre induction, enlarged oil sump. Slider throttle plates. NOTE: No distributer, BMW's own electronics package. All this in 1990! The 4 cyl started life when Paul Rosche lopped 2 cyl off the 6 cyl.

Sport Evo. (3) Additional pix + info.

Seen this tidy low k's on Tradeyou? Always get a pre- purchase done at a BMW dealer or BMW specialist workshop, ask to speak to the actual person who did the inspection and get his impression of the car. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-162623312.htm

Do you guys take this thread seriously, someone from the other side of the world hasn't got someone local & he drives a good car. I might start a new thread, help i stubbed my toe!

Nice car Kent! Would you mind posting a couple of pixs. -
And what size engine to get. Not loaded so fuel economy is important. But so is power:) Cheers No E34 is economical! The only one that will do over 30mpg on a trip is a 525i, i know because i owned one for 17yrs. To decide you need to drive a few of them.

Another gap in the market for Alpina.
-
Scanned 2 pages of facelift E30.
-
Is the book for fls or all e30s? Facelift E30's only. edit: will scan & post a couple of pages for you.
-
My E30 marketing booklet of the time states, ' the body is zinc plated WHERE appropriate, then it is dipped into a phosphate bath, primed in a cathodic dip bath, all cavities waxed etc'
-
The only thing i can tell you for sure is the facelift E30 shell had many improvements in crash testing, the offset 56km per hr frontal was designed into the new shell. This would presumably add more weight.

One of you E30 guru's should buy something like this, E30 Alpina. Quality car that will always be worth something. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/702993.htm -
I'm pretty sure that B10(genuine) was owned by Hi-Velocity (Gavin), others here will know the car.He sold it to this chap, Brent would probably know. The spec depended on which 535i was used for the conversion, i.e. std 535ia/ 535i manual or the 535i sport etc etc.

Alpina Australia has a good range of dyno graphs for comparison. http://www.alpinaaustralia.com.au/dyno/dyno_main.htm
