I know someone in Auck. who bores out T/B's complete with new throttle plate etc, if you also need any electronics interface to fool/scale existing ecu we could probably design something if need be.

Yeah they look brilliant, aaron 5 speed on bimmer has them on the 535is ( Marks old car),Aaron bought the car round here a while ago, he has gone over the whole car top to bottom. Whats the history of your 540is Simon?

Thats the biggest issue i have too Glenn, oop's i need a new fridge, oop's i need to pay the power, trot off down to another Govt. agency & get them to pay for it....ie the taxpayer. Working for families, another load of dribble.....they can't lower taxes across the board but they have money for every scheme imaginable.

The 2.8ltr seems the way to go now (from 2.7), rapala on Bimmer has just started his 2.8 rebuild. Any idea what sort of pwr/trq they deliver?

Magazine out now Simon or others, not much chop im afraid....a few pictures + general overview of car...no testing figures etc.
