What oil filter?....The Jap's don't change them!On a serious note Alpina built 4 E36 4.0ltr cars, think from memory all left hand drive...BMW told Burkard that it was unable to make the engine fit into an E36....but that was because engines were inserted from underneath on the assembly line, Alpina quickly discovered that the engine could be made to fit if it was dropped in from above. They then released the 4.6ltr version in 1995, i was told they built 250 units...saloon,coupe,Touring & convertible. For the 4.6ltr a special cast aluminum sump with integrated oil pump was among the many mods.....BMW built all the body shells with extra 42 additional brackets etc for Alpina. Mr E34 aka Mr Alpina.....my family should have stayed in Europe.

The birds are top notch, forget all these old cars for the calender.

Also right colour leather BMW built Recaro's, plus the front end is pre facelift so doesn't have squinted stretched headlights/indicators etc. Nice car for that money.

The 840 wins over the 850 autos, 6 speed manual, NZ new, low k's, nice black leather BMW Recaro's, better 4.4 ltr engine....rather pay 40k for that 10 yr old car than those auto 850's.

Seamus continues to plummet until he hits the bottom & breaks ever bone in his body. It's not over yet...Sean arrives, hes been to the pet shop, he pulls out a chicken, holds onto its legs & hurls himself over the cliff untill he hits the bottom.. dead..once more Paddy shakes his head..Fook dat lads..First der was Gerry with his budgie jumpin, den Seamus parrotshooting & now Sean with his fook'n hengliding!

Simply repair the head & you have a fuel efficient daily driver?

Alpina E30 B6s......if you don't know what that is youve been looking at too much common junk.

Your best bet is to live in New Lynn (close to work)& have a good nosey around Auckland so you find an area YOU like. 2 brm flats in New lynn around 250-275, have a look on Crockers for prices etc. pm me if you can't find anything or not sure.

Yeah thats enough, didn't realize it was your baby over there. When you spend a bit on a car & know everything about it it's hard to part with it.

The big plus is that its been here all it's life (legal & R/H), colour is ok, not leather unfortunately, prefer Hi-Teks colour...but the ultimate E30 M3 is still the last batch of Evo Sport (2.5ltr) so you wouldn't want to change that car to R/H. To release some of the engines potential they need carbon intake, no AF meter & custom remap.

Yeah the new laws are not helpful, basically if it doesn't meet the new crash testing criteria (or emissions) you can't import unless it is 20 yrs old(build date) Over 20 yrs you can bring in & register legally even left hand drive, someone might correct me on something but thats what i was told. Also don't forget if you owned the vehicle overseas for a certain period & you immigrate here you can bring it in & register. Why bring in an E32 anyway??? Plenty of better cars Penry.
