  1. Try this site, http://www.realoem.com/bmw/ Just click on the 'click here' to get in and type in the last 7 numbers of your vin. This will bring up your cars details with pics of all parts. Hope this helps.
  2. By the time yours was revinned and fixed and manualed, I'd guess this one would be much cheaper at $2500?
  3. So Ollie, will it look anything like this when finished, wet weather racer?
  4. This one's yours tho, isn't it? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=109450348
  5. Main thing is to get everything properly matched eh.
  6. Bounce comes from soft or no springs and shocks shot. Bounce means no rebound control, that's what your shocks do, they dampen the spring bounce. As Bravo says, best ride at the end of the day comes from good quality springs and shocks, matched together. This will allow you to go as low as you can and still have a reasonably handling car. The harder the spring, the less bounce and the lower you can go, but IMO, 40mm is generally about right.
  7. Use the zoom feature on Emma's link, they are bottles.
  8. Would guess it's just a kitted std car, defineatly bottles. I'd think black as well?
  9. Not everyone downloads as much porn as you Ollie.
  10. Gearboxes have different bolt layouts, won't swap over. You need a f/l box for the m40.
  11. FYI Toyota don't make a touring, they make station wagons.
  12. You know you can't race an M10 auto Andy.
  13. Funny how close we all are, any more than 2 days and they're out of line I would have thought.
  14. Surely not? Even my first one only took a day and a half, say 12 hrs, including the pedalbox, on axle stands. They've got a hoist, I would have thought 12 to 16hrs at the most?
  15. Yeah, still under offer, will let you all know later. Gone now, thanks guys.
  16. Sorry Gus, think it's going south, it's under offer.
  17. Hi Luke, IMO, I would've thought you'd be much better off selling the 318 and buying a 325. Can't see Mosen's being cheap, and it's not that simple? The 325 setup is very different, from suspension and swaybars front and back, to extra options etc, right the way thru. You get more bang for your buck out of a reasonable 325, so I'd say, get looking. Just my 2cents worth before you chuck dad's cash away.
  18. I've come across a used 318is front lip which I don't need. Will let it go for best offer over $120, pm if interested. Needs clean and paint, couple of small pieces inside broken, but nothing on the outside, and will fit fine.
  19. Sure Conrad, and if it wasn't ugly and did wear lipstick?
  20. Hi, import level last I knew was $400. Below that no duty or GST, above that you have to go thru an import agent, and fees, GST and Duty if applicable, apply.
  21. Hi, I've got the auto box, do you need the torque converter etc? Out of working car, pulled out yesterday. Do you have the rest of the conversion bits by any chance?
  22. pack it back here Gus, I'll look after it for you. Get back and it might be caged and going around the track?
