  1. Yeah, laser blue's right, used after 1990, BMW code 294. Dark metallic blue with a green tint according to the bible.
  2. Back to Biology class for you Em. You should know that if you end with a period there'll be no fine young citizen.
  3. Forget the maths guys. Someone else has it. You want it. What's the least they'll take for it? What're you prepared to pay? That's what it's going to cost.
  4. The 318 race King springs are an example of what graeme's talking about. They have a section which has no performance aspect, it's just a few coils of lighter spring section which collapses when the load of the cars on them, and serves to keep the spring captive when you jack the car up. The rest of the spring's much heavier and performs when the car's under load.
  5. Ok, you don't have to feed your vin in, you can go thru the selections and highlight what you want. So, click on E30, then sedan, then 325i, then 1990, and so on, and it will bring up the details for that motor. Then click Browse Parts.
  6. Try this site, http://www.realoem.com/bmw/ Just click on the 'click here' to get in and type in the last 7 numbers of your vin. This will bring up your cars details with pics of all parts. Hope this helps.
  7. By the time yours was revinned and fixed and manualed, I'd guess this one would be much cheaper at $2500?
  8. So Ollie, will it look anything like this when finished, wet weather racer?
  9. This one's yours tho, isn't it? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=109450348
  10. Main thing is to get everything properly matched eh.
  11. Bounce comes from soft or no springs and shocks shot. Bounce means no rebound control, that's what your shocks do, they dampen the spring bounce. As Bravo says, best ride at the end of the day comes from good quality springs and shocks, matched together. This will allow you to go as low as you can and still have a reasonably handling car. The harder the spring, the less bounce and the lower you can go, but IMO, 40mm is generally about right.
  12. Use the zoom feature on Emma's link, they are bottles.
  13. Would guess it's just a kitted std car, defineatly bottles. I'd think black as well?
  14. Not everyone downloads as much porn as you Ollie.
  15. Gearboxes have different bolt layouts, won't swap over. You need a f/l box for the m40.
  16. FYI Toyota don't make a touring, they make station wagons.
  17. You know you can't race an M10 auto Andy.
  18. Funny how close we all are, any more than 2 days and they're out of line I would have thought.
  19. Surely not? Even my first one only took a day and a half, say 12 hrs, including the pedalbox, on axle stands. They've got a hoist, I would have thought 12 to 16hrs at the most?
  20. Yeah, still under offer, will let you all know later. Gone now, thanks guys.
