I guess the thing is that you could throw that sort of cash at a 318, and god knows I luv them , but, you'll never see it again . At least with a Mtech 325 you'll stand a good chance of seeing most of it when you go to sell. You'll also get a lot more fun on the road with the Mtech, well, more power anyway.

I'm with Bravo on this one, Nz new is no guarantee with an E30 at their age. Base your decision on a thorough inspection, I've also seen some good imports and some bad NZ cars.

For 1990 you need a M40 conversion, not M10. Pretty straight foward, I've done 3 now without too many problems, first time I'd allow a weekend if you have all parts. Make sure you get the right box, must be out of a M40 car, Getrag 240, but boxes from 320 and prefacelift 318 are also getrag 240's, but with different bolt patterns and don't bolt up to the M40.
