I just got an email offering it for $10,900, he's playing his old games again, the wanker.
-
In my opinion, $4000 top, should know you never get what you put into a car back. Not my cup of tea but looks tidy, glws. my 2c.

Save the hassle and replace the stock lines? last thing I'd want is fuel in the car.

Comes a time when you need a good cold chisel, hammer or nut splitter and split them.
-
Depends on whose it is.
-
Doubt it's an attempted break in, it's not where I'd go to get into an E30.
-
That'll be your problem, it's the central locking control.

We have an E46 M3 racing in the series at the moment. He has the smg in and has done the first 2 events, that's 8 races with qually, and has had no issues at all, says it runs and performs well.

Will give him a call on Monday, thanks Steve.

Do you know anyone here who could do one like this for under $800, that's what I can land it here for?
-
Thanks, now for the manifold. There's a crowd in Norway who do a nice branched top mount for a reasonable price.

Hi, you know there's a booster from the E32 which is a smaller diameter, it's a twin chamber job we run one in my car and the bros E30 with the M54 as well to clear the intake. Brent HARTGE535i on here could probably help.

DBA 4000 Series Rotors for the BMW E30
Silver Fox replied to djs325's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
I guess the price is the main issue, they'd be $500 a pair landed here. -
Looks the same as mine, I use one of the top fittings as my return from the swirl pot, also have no baffles in it, just some foam. Mine's a 20lt, but I've replaced the top filler fitting, the plastic one kept jamming, so I fitted a steel one, much better.

First one was a Nokia P30, commonly know as the brick, in 87 or 88 from memory .
-
Yes, stock, but will go with decent head gasket, revving to stock revs, 6250 rpm.

So, what do you know about the E34 3.4 lt M30 as far as turboing goes? What do I have to do to get a reliable engine with around 300rwhp as far as bits go? Engine has around 9 to 1 compression ex factory. Trying to keep budget to around $4k, can it be done? Appreciate any help.

Very interested Crunchy, I'm about to go down the path of putting a turbo in the E28, M30 3.5 engine, for the race series. Don't have any money, but aim to do a budget install, fitting what I need, and doing the best I can with what I've got and can get. Have a few people who are ok to help, so keen to see where you go with this. Good luck, altho it seems you don't need it. Look forward to any pics.

Graham, the E30 race cars run et15 with the DCH wheels fron Chch, as opposed to the et24 which is the std basketweave. I haven't heard of any problems, and most don't even reckon there's any difference.

Hi Ashkan, don't know if it helps or not, but, I run a 20 lt ali fuel tank in the boot, feeding a swirl pot with a standard high pressure bmw pump, via a filter, then from the swirl pot to the engine with another standard bmw pump. The return comes back to the swirl pot from the fuel rail, and the overflow from the swirl pot goes back to the tank. Been running for almost 2 years now with no problems, after I fitted the filter. The pumps jam up easy if you don't use a filter before the first pump. Only use standard fuel hoses, nothing fancy, and cost around $400 all up.

As if we are ever in that state Dan?
