No, you don't need the race license to get your logbook, the license is for you, the logbook goes with the car.

E34 is trailing arm, similar to E30, so no adjustment, but you can do the same as Glenn has on this thread to get some camber and castor. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=30815 If you have Bilsteins on the back you can fit threaded tubes to get height adjustment with very little effort, as I have done on the E28 which has a similar rear as well.

Jack, you have to keep the heater fan unit, you can change it for one which doesn't have the aircon, which comes in from the drivers side, but you must have a heater unit installed with the demist working. Two heater types, the aircon one, which is about twice the weight of the non aircon one.

Cluster only needs the 2 plugs, your tach and speedo problems will be something else. Heater aircon unit, remove 4 nuts on the engine side behind the scuttle panel on the firewall, and the one nut inside the car on the floor, disconnect the 2 hoses in the engine bay and give it a good kick. Should fall out.

You can swap the lsd centre into any E30 diff so long as it's the same size one, either small or med case. I had a 4.1 in mine.

That's one reason you put a nut on before you hacksaw. As well as protecting the thread, it also cleans the end as you take it off, run it up and down a few times over the end before removing it completely and you should be fine.

Bikes can't run with cars, and take too much car time away if they have to run on their own. I'd say no. PITA at puke.
