A freind of mine once said " Never ever trust anything that bleeds for 4 days every month and doesnt die"

Its common on cars over 5 years old. The rubber diaphram goes in them and its not as easy as a Mazda. Did they show you the part ???( oops yes they did ) Its nearly as big as an air flow meter. If its fixed properly, have no fear.

From what I read in there I would say you'll be fine. I'd get the flywheel lightened as well I hope youve driven a puk clutch before....not the nicest for driving round town
-
5 ton wont do it. We designed and had built a special tool for doing this in place using a 20 ton portapower. Even the OEM tool wont do some of them. You now need to buy a complete hub/arm assembly.

I just split the loom and kept DME & EGS seperate to chassis and ABS, was quite simple even with EWS. I also had the donor car so I just swapped the key chips, EWS module & DME with the donor car

If you dont use the correct battery, you'll have to make up a battery hold down as the OEM battery clamp wont work. A secure battery is a WOF issue. Just get a good quality Din55... and check the charge rate

+1 I totaly agree with what Graham is saying here. Let the repairer bare the warranty completely. Have you also considered a mild camshaft grind ? seeing they are going to do it anyway ?? Also be a good idea to get the injectors serviced at the same time while they're out. BTW... do the cambelt, water pump & thermostat at the same time

Those 6 X 9 speakers in the rear could be a problem... rear parcel tray would need to be checked

Is this a rendition of what aussie blokes call a stag night out with all the boys
