Yesterday I was having some work done at the Toyota dealer. A woman came in and asked for a seven-hundred- ten. We all looked at each other, and the mechanic asked, "What is a seven-hundred- ten?" She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine. I lost it and need a new one. It had always been there." The mechanic gave the woman a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710 !! He then took her over to another car which had the hood up and asked, "Is there a 710 on this car?" She pointed and said, "Of course, it's right there." Now guys go to the photo below to learn what a 710 is............ ... ... ... ... ... ... .... ... ... ... ...

The question is, what does a 23 stone woman look like? Approx 140 Kg Now, before you look at her pictures, get a mental image of what you think a woman who weighs 23 stone looks like.... Got it? Ready? Not what you were expecting was it??!! The tallest woman in the world lives in Holland . She is 7'4' and weighs 23 stone. What a relief! Now we ALL know we aren't overweight, just too short! Have A Great Day and Enjoy some Chocolate!

I think you should have read some of the posts a bit more clearly. Most of the posters have modified cars, that they chose to spend money on modifications. These are not your everyday type of car and dont reflect what you would expect to spend on maintanence and repairs. As for feeling "bad"..... I don't think many of us do

The black would probably look better if the headlight surrounds were painted with the same matt black IMO Failing that.....chrome on a silver car

I'm standing at about $25,000 without labour for my 328Ti Manual and I need to spend a little more. Head lining and a bit of paint on the skirts and repaint the front spoiler

e39 540i stalling at low revs...hunts while idling any ideas?
*Glenn* replied to wobbly47's topic in Maintenance
The engine fault codes are stored in the DME and diagnosis for that fault should have been done there... what was the fault code in the DME for your stalling problem ??.. We download all fault codes onto a PDF file before carrying out any repairs... mainly to cover ourselves in the event of something going wrong or a similar fault occuring further down the line Turning your rear light warning off should have been done in the LCM or Central body control unit I cant comment any further because I dont know all the actual facts. You may actually now have 2 problems, if so, you will have to pay 2 excesses. As Jochen said, it may have crashed when recoding... this can happen and most dealers get you to sign a disclaimant now if recoding is necessary... especially on the later model cars ie: E65's & E90's
