I knew it was on axle stands...no 316 revs that quickly on the road and there was no load on the engine

I would take a guess..... that was done on axle stands
  6. Why do you want to eliminate hoses BMW thought it necessary to install ???
  7. I was going to suggest that I check it for you... out of the question though. I'd get it scanned first and go from there
  8. Check all the induction & breather hoses. Also make sure the AFM is not sticking

  10. Coincedence...E46 doesnt have sensors in the rear seat.. bring it in Monday Erron and I'll scan it for you... go from there
  11. Needs scaning first..go from there
  12. I totaly agree...It should be compulsory for BS membership. I really get sick of it ... its only a few digits
  13. $800-$900 with pads rotors & wear sensor (approx) Chassis # and I can give you a good price on Monday All Euro parts prices have gone up by about 20% in the last couple of weeks
  14. Where abouts are you ??
  15. Did you try ? I wanted them for my car. What is the fitment problem Brent?
  16. If you see the Herald this morning...another BMW write off in the same place Cain had his accident a couple of weeks ago. The BMW driver was dam lucky though not to loose his head. I'm glad they caught the culprits too. I might avoid this off ramp... looks like its a BMW target area...
  17. I'm after 2 front seats out of a Z3 or E36 M3 Coupe. Must be black leather or a sutle two tone in leather. I'm after perfect seats, must also be electric...heated seats are fine too. Will look at other types, brands as well... but I'm after perfect seats.... no crap
  18. They should, because they come with the carriers too. You will need to check calliper / wheel clearances. However those rotors look like theyre past machining. You would need to measure them. You need .6mm to machine the surfaces. Ask the seller what thickness they are and what the Brembo min thickness is printed on the disc. You can work it out from that. If they are beyond machining you'll have to replace them.

    HELP

You better give me a call Livi .... DONT DRIVE IT anymore... and I wouldnt use it on the cruise today. It needs to be fixed pronto or you will end up doing damage to the engine if its not already done. Ph. 021921377
  20. You know ???..... please tell us how ??
  21. I can answer that quite easily for you Graham.... I'm Phattyphobic.... thinnies are my type
  22. With 225/45/17 wheels and the 3.46 diff will give you 2,894rpm @ 100kph.... is that what you want? That will give you a calculated top speed of 225kph @ 6,500rpm (rev limit) in 5th gear
  23. Real easy to fit....no skills required
  24. Its OK Brent... I can handle a wind up as for the suspension... Bisteins & H&R's 328 sway bar... how does that compare to a Nissan Primera ?? The car's not a dedicated race car, its a fun car and surprises many with the performance factor it has now. As for a boot... I dont need a place to store nappies & prams now... so I dont need it. Ian might need a boot though....for storing spare parts and his tool kit... these I dont need either. I'm more than happy with what I have now.....and thats what it's all about....the enjoyment factor. As for my track driving ability.... I've said it before... that was the first time ever I've been on a track... and the unpredictability of the "slush box" was making me very cautious & nervous... however, I had some fun & enjoyed it... didnt break anything (appart from the "slush box) which I knew had limited life, nor did I hit anyone.. so that cant be all that bad
  25. Checked it today...had a historical air mass sensor fault. Cleared fault codes, road tested, checked AMS readings....all ok and no more fault codes. Owner is fitting new plugs and we go from there
